Specialist Teachers

TCG is very lucky to have some wonderful specialist teachers in the areas of Music, Movement, Arabic and Art. Children throughout the school (from Pre-Nursery to PS2) enjoy sessions throughout the week with Nuket (Math), Loma (Music & Movement), Dalal (Arabic) and Rana (Art).

  Music & Movement

Hi, my name is Loma Tawbi. I am the music and movement teacher in TCG. I lived in France for 8 years before moving to Dubai in 2008. I have a Bachelors Degree in Music and Musicology and a Music Teacher diploma from the University of Sorbonne in Paris. I obtained in 2006 the Golden Medal in History of Music from the Conservatory of Paris for Arts, Music and Drama. I speak Arabic, French and English. I have learned both systems of music (Oriental and Occidental). In addition to singing and dancing, I play Kanoun (stringed instrument), piano and guitar. I have worked at The Children's Garden since 2009 and I'll be working on a child-- centered curriculum by combining the best music learning methods in Orff, Kodaly and Suzuki.
I believe that Music and Movement benefit a child’s development in many ways mainly in creativity and imagination that our ICLCA curriculum emphasizes on. Through their appreciation for music, our children will acquire a great pleasure that will bring a new dimension of beauty in their lives.

My name is Dalal Naciri. I am the Arabic Teacher in The Children's Garden. I am Moroccan and came to Dubai in 2008 from Cairo. I have a Bachelors in Mass Communications. I  speak Arabic, French & English. I will be introducing the arabic language in a fun way to the children.

In Nursery, I will use music and songs to introduce the language. Stories will be a tool to encourage the children to use simple vocabulary.

In PS1 & PS2 I will teach the children to recognise the letters, to write and read. There will be Intensive Arabic sessions in the morning as a third language. This will open the children up to the Arabic culture and traditions at their level and in a fun and creative way.

Hello, my name is Nuket and I am from Turkey. I am one of the founder members of TCG and I have been living in Dubai for nine years. I graduated from Istanbul University as a mathematician and I have a teaching certificate from Marmara University in Istanbul. I worked for ten years in high schools as a Math Teacher in Istanbul. In TCG I am working as a Math Teacher and the Math Coordinator at both TCG Jumeira and Green community. This year I will also be Teaching Assistant in Ruby Class alongside Ms Angelique. TCG has given me the opportunity to work with all ages of children, this has allowed me to create a structural, tailor made math program for the school.
