Head of School

My name is Mrs Jill, I am Head of school.
For the last five years I have been teaching PS2 and leading the PS1/2 team at The Children's Garden- Green community.
In my role as Head of school I will lead and support the school community to ensure our children are cared for and nurtured in an environment that stimulates them and inspires them.

I previously studied German at university, and then completed my Post graduate certificate in primary education, specialising in language teaching. My studies took me to Germany where I spent time in schools supporting the learning of English from an ESL perspective. This experience is especially relevant here in Dubai. I taught in the Early Years in England before moving to Dubai.
Working in a Pre-school setting adds a vibrancy and sense of fun to each day which I really love.

I train for the Dubai 10k each year and love a game of tennis when I get the time. Some weekends I can be found at the local circuits as I support my husband in his Motorsport business, usually with my camera strapped to me - photography is a much loved hobby that I explore in my free time.

I am looking forward to a fantastic school year.

My name is Anja Hag. I moved to Dubai in February 2010. I am 38 years old. My husband and I are from Germany, although my husband spent most of his youth here in Dubai. We have two daughters aged 8 and 13 years old. I am the Personal Assistant for our Director and Head of Admissions

My name is Sabrina Kippka.

I am a German gal from Berlin, living in Dubai for over four years now.
After having worked some good time in the tourism field I decided to follow new challenges and took over the Finance and HR department at The Children’s Garden. I am looking forward to this new experience and to meet you in our premises!
 		  

 

 

     

Our Security Guard is Mr Talib Hussain. He has worked for over 18 years in the Pakistani Military so he will ensure that everyone parks their cars as effectively as possible. He keeps our school safe. Mr Talib has five children so he will enjoy being part of our school community!!

Mr Talib has a newly discovered talent also as an artist, as you can see below with his very own contribution to the wonderfully updated pool mural.
