Left: My name is Lesley Allen and I have just arrived in Dubai. This is my first year at The Children's Garden. I was born in England - my main language is English and I speak a little French. I spent 12 years as a Teaching Assistant with 4 - 7 year olds and 1 year as a Nanny, caring for a 4 year old girl and a 6 month old boy. I enjoy working with children and love to watch them develop into individuals. It is great too see their characters emerge at this early age. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, swimming and badminton.
Right: My name is Janine Dowswell. this is my 5th year in Dubai. I have been at The Children's Garden for 3 years. My 4 and a half year old daughter is in PS1 German/English. I was born in Germany and when I was 2 years old, my family and i moved to the land down under (Australia!!). I am a very happy go lucky person! I chose to work with children because I love how they see the world - everything is new for them. They often make me laugh with the things they say. Through NEC in England, I studied for a Diploma in Pre-School Practice.
