Math In Science Garden
Dear parents,
I would like to announce that TCG ‘s first 'Math in Science' garden will start welcoming children after the 13th November 2011.
The children will be exploring symmetry on the leaves, fruits & the flowers. They will be introduced to age appropriate math concepts such as, measuring areas, volume, distance and estimation. The new math in science garden will also reinforce concepts such as patterning, shapes and numerals.

As you all know TCG has a very unique math programme, that is divided into sections such as:
- Math in the classroom
- Math in Art
- Math in Physical activities
- Math in Music
Now we will have a Math in Science section.

Our Math curriculum is in sections to show the children that Math is everywhere, not only when sat to a desk.
The Children’s Garden has 2 Math Gardens for the children to enjoy. One is for Physical activities & games and the other one is for science. Throughout the year you will notice that teachers are introducing some math concepts through the artwork, songs and stories.
