Marigold Yellow and Sky Blue

WE LEARN THROUGH ART AND PLAY
AND HAVE LOTS OF FUN EVERY DAY!!

Left to Right:

I'm Hagera Setta, the teacher in Sky Blue French Nursery Class. I am French and I relocated from France to Dubai 4 years ago. I have several years of experience teaching French as a second language to children aged 2 to 10 years old. This is my third year at TCG. At TCG, I have met wonderful colleagues, parents and of course, children! For me, children are amazing and I have learned from them as much as they have learned from me. I love travelling and discovering new places, people and things.

My name is Angelique and I am the Sky Blue teaching assistant. I'm Mauritian by birth and French by marriage. I am a mother of 2 children and my passion for children has brought me to TCG. I have been working as a swimming coach with children for 4 years. My hobbies are hairdressing, swimming, volleyball and music.

Hello, my name is Claire Henderson, I am the Teaching Assistant in the Marigold Yellow Class  I come from the cold, North West of England and I have been living in Dubai since January 2009.
My passion for working with children and my love of art and music has brought me to The Children's Garden to embark upon my career of working in Early Education. I have previous experience working with children, developing their skills through music, dance and drama. I have a BA hons in Contemporary Performing Arts, and also sing now and again! I feel very privileged to work in such an amazing place, and I believe in the concept and innovative methods that are used at TCG.

Hello, my name is Monique Gagnon and I am from Alberta, Canada. I have been teaching at The Children's Garden since it opened its doors (those of us who have been here since the beginning have been named "The TCG Dinosaurs!"). I am also the Nursery Co Ordinator and the Environmental Co Ordinator for the school. I have learned more through working with children over the past 13 years than one could ever learn in any book or University class. Over the years, I have worked with troubled and abused teenagers and children with various behavioural and special needs and now I thoroughly enjoy teaching 3 year olds through art, play and language. I hold a Diploma in Child and Youth Care and I am currently  finishing my Bachelor of Arts with Psychology major via distance learning with a Canadian University.
