The school year spans the months from September to June and is divided into two terms. Our normal hours are from 8:30 - 2:00, Sunday to Thursday. The afternoon session finishes at 2:00. The After School Activities begin at 2:30.

- Two year-olds may enroll on a full-time (8:30 - 2:00) or part-time basis (8:30 - 12:00) for three or five days per week.
- Three year olds must enrol for five days with the option of half or full days (8.30 - 12.00 or 8.30 - 2.00).
- Four and five year-olds must enroll on a full-time basis (8:30 - 2:00).
Parents may drop their children off from 7:45, from which time the children will be supervised by staff.
Parents are required to organize their children's lunch and snack.
After School Activities
The Children's Garden offers After School Activities. The programme provides a fun-pack array of opportunities for
children to explore new interests, develop their skills and enrich their school days.

General Information
1. The After School Activities are led by TCG staff and organised for TCG children and outsiders.
2. All courses start at 2:30pm, after a short break at the end of the school day. TCG children will stay in their classrooms until the course begins. Parents are requested to pick-up their children promptly when the course finishes at 3:15pm.
3. The course teacher is in charge of the organisation of the course.
4. Only TCG children are insured when attending After School Activities at TCG. Outside children attending these activities are not covered and their parents should make their own arrangements.
5. If children are unwell, they must be kept at home and are not allowed to attend After School Activity courses (for more details please see TCG’s Illness Policy).
Emergency Care Rates/Policy
a. Should a child not be picked up by 2.15pm he/she will be escorted to the reception area where they will be supervised by one of our nannies until they are collected by you/caretaker.
b. The classroom teacher signs the child's name at the front desk
c. When picking up, the parent/caretaker needs to sign out at the front desk
d. The charge will be AED15 for each 15 minute increment of time
e. Should the parent/caretaker fail to sign out, a basic fee of AED60 will be charged in all cases
